Tell me I can't do it. Tell me I shouldn't even try. Tell me it's impossible. Tell me the risk is too high, the challenge too much, or the feat too tough. Tell me that I won't do it. And I will!

President Gordon B. Hinckley once said: "Life is to be enjoyed, not endured." This is a blog of my favorite quotes, short stories, and general things that I enjoy. I hope you find them enjoyable too! As I find more things I will add them. Disclaimer: I am not perfect. Where possible I will provide accurate references.

When you meet people who do things or think differently than you do, it's easy to assume that your way is the better way, but that isn't always true.
Many situations require us to make absolute judgments about what we believe is right and wrong, but so much of the conflict in homes and neighborhoods comes from not understanding that there are many ways of living and doing.

Once in awhile a book will come along, that when you read it, will change the way you see yourself and the people you know. Conversations with a MoonFlower did that for me. Here are a few quotes.
You have always known who you are and what your life is about. But early in your childhood, you let the voices of those who didn't understand your struggles and were frustrated with your behavior cloud your vision and jam the signals coming from your soul until you forgot what you had once known. You began to believe things about yourself that were not true. When you are ready, you can let that part of your life be over. You don't have to hold on to any of those inaccurate beliefs another minute. You can let them go.
